4 Fantastic Books to Add to Your TBR

January was a weird reading month for, but I still read 4 fantastic books! Today I’m sharing them with you.

A Heart so Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer

A strong sequel to A Curse So Dark and Lonely. I LOVED getting to see Grey’s perspective and where this story took him. I cannot wait to read book three!

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller

This was a fun YA fantasy standalone. While I really enjoyed it overall, there were a few things that bothered me (like the constant need for all the girls talking about how much they wanted to have sex. After the 2nd time I was like, can we please move on from this?) Because the plot of the story was SO FUN! 3.5/5 stars.

How to Walk Away by Katherine Center

Another Katherine Center book that just blew me away. She’s great at tackling hard subjects and making them hopeful and enjoyable to read. Just like all her other books, I highly recommend it!

Even This by Emily Belle Freeman

Getting to the place where you can trust God with anything. I cried and I felt so much hope and a deeper understanding about how we can come to know God.

It is the seam between winter and spring—though seam suggests an even hem, and March is more like a rough line of stitches sewn by an unsteady hand, swinging wildly between January gusts and June greens. You don't know what you'll find, until you step outside.” - VE Schwab, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue What books are on your TBR this month? Or do you have a hopefuls list? I’ve got a handful of books I’d love to read, but we’ll see what happens! That’s what happens when it gets closer to anniversary days of things that were traumatic. So if you’re looking at this month and thinking “I just wanna get through” I see you. This month I’m hoping to channel some of my anxiety and focus into starting a new book! I’m starting the first draft of something new and I’m looking forward to being creative that way. I’m also hoping to put my phone down more and be in the moment or in the quiet since those moments have brought me clarity and peace lately. All of my goal are on my blog today! Link in my bio. Now tell me about yours! I’d love to know how I can cheer you on this month, big or small 💕

📱 Better Together Do you give pretty high ratings? Most of my recent reads have been 4 or 5 stars, since I’ve been trying to put down books that I’m not loving as much! But this month it also makes sense, as half of my reads we’re re-reads and I don’t read books again (generally) unless it was a 4 or a 5 for me!
