Hi friends! Happy Friday! Remember how a few months ago I shared that I was taking a step back from blogging? Well, it turns out that I love blogging too much to walk away from it, so I’m here to stay! This week I’ve been planning a lot of new and fun stuff for my blog that I’ll be rolling out in the coming month.
I also sent my beta readers a copy of my novel!! My sis already found an inconsistency with one of the side (side) character names. Oops. All is well.
I am currently in the middle of 6 books because apparently I can’t decide what I want to read. To be honest, I’m loving them all, I just keep starting new books. I need to be decisive and pick one to just read and finish!! What are you currently reading!?
I hope this weekend is a good one for you! I’ll be doing homework and (hopefully) finishing a novel or two!
Favorite Reads this week:
One of my favorite things I’ve seen other bloggers do is share a round-up of posts they’ve read or loved from the internet. I feel like I spend a lot of time online reading blogs and different articles that I think you’d also enjoy!
10 Strategies to read more! Loved these tips.
#UpLift: Positive Books. I think I added all of these to my TBR (to be read) on Goodreads.
Fall Date Ideas (for at home!) It’s been way too long since my husband and I had an actual date, this gave me some fun ideas.
20/20 Vision. A great post about what the year 2020 can bring us.
Let’s Make Autumn Reading a Thing. Yes, please!
The Gilded Wolves and The Silvered Serpents by Roshani Chokshi
The Silvered Serpents just came out this past Tuesday and I was grateful to get an ARC of the book on NetGalley. I had such a fun time reading both of these books, and I was glad that I waited to read The Gilded Wolves until I had a copy of The Silvered Serpents because I picked up book 2 right away!
There’s a band of misfits, lots of heists, and magic. What more could you possibly want?
3.5 stars for TGW and 4 stars for TSS
Add both books on Goodreads.
Read with me!
This weekend I’ll be finishing up some homework for school, maybe going on a drive with my toddler, and hopefully finishing The Flatshare and Keeper of the Lost Cities, which is a charming middle-grade fantasy novel that starts a new series I can’t wait to read more of!
