The leaves are changing as fast as the months seem to be! September flew by, but it was a really good month! Here are a few highlights.
Griffin started a new job and we celebrated at Texas Roadhouse!
My parents came for a weekend, and we went to a model railroad museum which was super cool! Von’s favorite part was the actual train car that we got to sit in.
The days turned a little cooler (less than 90 anyway) and we spent a lot of time outside and at the park. Von finally went down the tube slide by herself and it’s now her favorite thing!
I shared more of my story about when I had severe PPD and was suicidal, in honor of September being Suicide Awareness month. In that post, I shared the story behind the tattoo I got in 2019.
After 7 months, I finally finished my paint by number painting. I hope it doesn’t take me another 7 months to get a frame and hang it up.
Von practiced taking photos.
I documented A Day in Our Life.
I made our bed more mornings than I didn’t!
We went apple picking! It was super hot, but also a lot of fun. I think it’ll be a new yearly tradition, even if it was a bit of a drive! Plus, the farm had amazing apple cider.
September was a great month, and I’m really looking forward to October. We’ve got some fun things planned, and I just love fall! The cooler air, the changing leaves. I’ve been listening to Red and evermore on repeat since they both fit this season. We had our “Hello Fall” dinner last week, and I hope to write about that soon. Looking forward to this new month!
